ok, well, you know how dumbledore defeated grindelwald in 1945, when world war 2 ended? that may have something to do with it. but riddle was in his 6th year in 1942(5o years ago, from book 2 and nicks' deathday). so in 1945 he would have been out of hogwarts for two years. at that time he was gatherin horruxes. the proximity of the dates, and the world war 2 thing!! don't you think it might mean something? or at least that it's kinda cool?

Does what mean something? I understand that certain dates pretaining to Dumbledore and Voldie are close to dates pretaining to WWII, but could you refrase your question? It doesn't make a lot of sense. Could you try and be a little clearer next time you post? I understand what your getting at but, I know your always asking me for writing/debating tips, so just for the record, make sure you clearly phrase questions and don't throw random facts together. I know when I do that no one knows what in the world I'm talking about!

ok, well, you know how dumbledore defeated grindelwald in 1945, when world war 2 ended? could grindelwald's defeat have anything to do with the end of WW II? could he be a parallel to hitler or something of the sort? but Riddle was in his 6th year in 1942(50 years ago, from book 2 and nicks' deathday). so in 1945 he would have been out of hogwarts for two years. at that time he was gatherin horruxes. the proximity of the dates, and the world war 2 thing!! don't you think it might mean something? or at least that it's kinda cool?
do you get it now WW 2 ended, grindelwald was defeated and Riddle was gathering horcruxes at about the same time. do yout hink there could be anything to that?
