i've beent hinking of ghosts and the veil and the archway adne verything for a while now, expeicallally since the veil in book 5.
suppose we look at it as an archway, and not a veil. people pass through the "archway" or "gate" when it is time for them to die. there is even a rune that symbolizes a gateway and a path to "heaven" or "the place beyond" or whatever you'd like to call it. people that pass on are often said to go "beyond the veil", which what i suppose Sirius did. i have heard that people become ghosts when they are not able to grasp that they are dead, or let go of material things. i think that although harry;s parents and sirius didn't want to leave, they understood they must, so they didn't come back as ghosts. for the life fo a ghost is, i guess you could say, incomplete.
then we have the mater of if Sirius was killed of if he just fell through the veil. if he was killed, falling through the veil is only symbolic. but if it was some spell, say, impedimenta, and he fell through the veil..well, he goes into the wold of the dead and i guess he stays there..i dunno. if he wans't dead, it's a bit like greeek mythology where humans visit the underworld and come back, but then there's the story or persephone. yeah. what do you think?

Well, it's kinda of confusing what you wrote. So, you're saying that he could be in the world of the dead, and could come and visit?
