i was thinking of something that needs to be added to one of the decrees, or maybe it could be a seperate decree...i dunno.
but anyway, i have been trying to monitor who's joining which class so i can give out points, but it'skinda hard, so we need to make some decree or something that requires teachers to tell me when someone joins their class and what house they're in.

Ana, remind me, why do you need to give out points based on classes? When teachers award points for homework, you'd have no way of knowing unless they tell you.

no, i mean people get points for JOINING a class. also, i was thinking of making it required for teachers to have class lists on their site-it makes everything a ton easier.

First of all, let's make this a separate decree.
Secondly, I agree with both points. However, let's also turn this the other way. If a student notifies you that they want to join a class, you need to inform that teacher.

i tell them to tell the teacher if they e-mail me, so that';s fine. so should this be decree 5 or 6

Decree #6. How's this for wording?
When a student emails a teacher to join his/ her class, that teacher must email the webmistress, so she can award points accordingly.
If the student emails the webmistress, then the webmistress must notify the teacher of that class.
All teachers are required to have a list of students taking the class on the class site.
